Exploring education opportunities in Japan and Germany

We hosted two sharing sessions on further
studies in Japan and Germany in November
2017 and March 2018 respectively, welcoming
speakers from Miyazaki International College
(Japan) and Education First (Munich area).
Our students took the precious chances to
interact with the speakers and were active
in exploring education pathways overseas
to prepare themselves for making informed

‘$avvy Planner’ Workshop –

A road to manage your finance wisely

Have you ever envisaged how ideal your mid-50s can be when you have saving ‘big’
enough to secure the rest of your life? What if you are so unfortunate that you go
bankrupt or suffer from chronic diseases, whichever
one of them can cost you a whole life’s deposits and
leave you no extra penny to spare? The ‘$avvy Planner’
Workshop was run by the Hong Kong Federation of
Youth for all S5 students in March 2018 in order to
arouse their awareness of money matters. By playing
a board game cleverly-designed, students learnt to
make important life decisions on a couple of simulated
occasions at different stages of their life. Despite the
obstacles and failures encountered, all participants
were fully engaged and acquired an important lesson
on how to plan ahead and manage their finance.
