The people I met in Britain
6A Cheung Chun Ki, Peter
During the trip, I encountered a sea of people and
some of them became my new friends. In fact, I Meet our Italian friends Brothers from Hong Kong
wondered if I could chat with them when I resumed and Vietnam
my normal life, and successfully keep in touch with
them.
We stayed at the campus of the University of
Greenwich for 14 days. There were a lot of pupils
from different countries like Turkey, Italy, Kazakhstan,
Vietnam, etc. I was really excited when I spent my
days on campus because I'm a talkative person and I
love chatting with others very much, particularly with

The first foreigner I talked with was an Italian girl, I still
remember the moment. One morning, I was having
breakfast in the canteen with Parko. I realized that
some people were looking at me and when our eyes
met, they ran towards us immediately and asked us
a lot of questions like where we came from etc. I was
shocked by their reaction. Perhaps this is the major Peter and Parko -
difference between Hong Kongers and westerners. Sun Hoi brothers in Greenwich Sun Hoi Boys' Club
They were friendly, hospitable, generous, and good-
humored. We exchanged our contacts and I had the
most wonderful morning during the whole trip.
The next group of people I met came from Turkey.
Honestly I didn't know much about Turkey so I was
curious about this mysterious country. One night, we
were assigned into different groups to accomplish a
mission in the group activity. Our group was formed
of Sun Hoi students and Turkish girls. It was quite a Rengin and Yagmur (from Turkey),
nice group for me. We collaborated and completed Parko and Peter
the task as fast as we could. We built a human
pyramid and since Parko and I were the only boys in Traditional British Food

I tried a traditional English breakfast as well. My
breakfast was a few pieces of hot toast and a bowl of
cereal, as well as bacon, sausages, fried eggs and
baked beans. As for drinks, people in England usually
have a cup of hot Earl Grey tea or coffee. During my
stay, I had a traditional British breakfast every day, I
liked it very much and thought it was better than what
I eat every day in Hong Kong.
The traditional food in England really impressed me.
Fish and chips and pizzas - time and try more British food.
We enjoyed traditional If I had a choice, I would stay in England for a longer
