The Coldest Outdoor Learning Day

It was February and our examinations were over. Sun Fong Chung College had organized
a picnic and we all thought it was a thrilling idea. We were all so excited. It was decided that
Form 2 and 3 students would go to a holiday camp in Sai Kung which is named Po Leung Kuk
Pak Tam Chung Holiday Camp.
It was a fine but cold winter morning when we gathered in the school at eight o’clock and
we had to wait until nine o’clock before we could leave. Three coaches had already arrived.
The teachers took our attendance, and then we boarded our coach. On the coach, we were all
in a picnic mood, so we talked happily. The coach was full of laughter.

We arrived at the campground at about ten o’clock, and then we walked around and took
lots of photos of the view. At lunchtime, our class, which is 2B, decided to have a barbecue
and I felt very happy about that. We had prepared a lot of food so we all felt full afterwards.

After the barbecue, it was time to tidy up and go home. We all felt very satisfied, happy
and ready to start our return journey. In a very merry mood and with lots of new information,
we boarded the coach. I enjoyed our picnic very much.

A Strange Game

Billy was interested in playing computer games. His favourite game was Zelma Quest.
It was an RPG game. Zelma was a heroine. She fought villains with a sword and shield but
she did not have hi-tech gadgets like notebook computers. However, Billy had all of these. He
always played computer games in his bedroom.
One day, Billy was playing the game when Zelma stared at him. Billy was scared. Zelma
saw Billy’s hi-tech gadgets. Suddenly, she flew out and grabbed Billy’s gadgets. Then she went
back into the screen.

After Zelma had got Billy’s gadgets, she used them to fight against villains. She did not
use the sword and shield to fight any more. After the war, she flew out again and said, “Sorry,
I needed to take your things to fight and win. Now I give them back to you.” Zelma flew back
into the game and disappeared. Then the computer was switched off.
