An Amazing Canadian Magician – Darcy Oake

Do you like to watch magic shows? I have
recently watched the best magic show in the world
on Youtube. The show was performed by a young
Canadian magician named Darcy Oake. Darcy
wanted to use illusions to make his dream come
true and change his life. So he fl ew to London to
perform on Britain’s Got Talent in 2014 when he
was 26 years old. My jaw dropped when I was
watching it.
At the beginning of the show, Darcy’s show just looked normal. But suddenly a
feather on his hand started burning. In a fl ash, he turned the burning feather into a
bird. At this moment, everyone was shocked.
Then he continued his show. He created
some doves out of thin air. Then he put them
into a birdcage and locked them in it. The
most stunning part was he made two little
birdcages out of one. Everyone got stunned
and did not know how he could do these.
At last, he put a big black cloth onto the big
birdcage and pulled it off. Those birds in the
cage turned into a pretty woman! What an amazing moment! Everyone stood up
and gave him a big round of applause for his fantastic illusions. All the judges gave
him awesome comments. One of them, David, said he is the best magician in the
world. Another judge Amanda said he can make the audience believe the impossible
is possible. I absolutely agree with them.
After watching this talent show, I was so amazed and astonished by Darcy’s
brilliant magic acts. I watched videos of his other shows on Youtube and the
playbacks many times but I still could not fi nd any fl aws. I think his sleight of hand is
really awesome.
A fter the show, Darcy became famous and he has shown the world his hard

work and fascinating skills in magic. His success motivated me to pursue my dream
with persistence. I will defi nitely recommend this show to my friends.
