knowledge and skills, and develop their positive values and attitudes so
that they can fulfil their roles competently and confidently as consumers,
investors, employees and/or entrepreneurs; ึ ኪ ʕ ᅃ ሒ ᔼ ৫ ௹ ฌ ዝ ଣ ᑌ ֣ ᐼ
2. to develop students’ generic skills in research, analysis, leadership,
team-building, communication, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-
solving and transfer them to different domains; and
3. o explore different aspects of business to prepare students for life, for
t
learning and for employment.
The NSS Business, Accounting and Financial Studies curriculum
covers the knowledge of management, accounting, finance, and
investment. All of the above are parts of Hong Kong commerce,
giving students a first-hand understanding of commerce. Other than
the knowledge, students can also learn some practical skills in this
subject, for example, preparing a full set of financial statement,
personal financial planning, management skills and many more.
Nowadays, Hong Kong’s business education focuses not only
the textbook knowledge, but also the practical one that meets the
needs of individuals in the society and helps cultivate students’
entrepreneurship. It is necessary to provide more opportunities for
students to join different activities, allowing them to experience more and broaden their horizons.
Activities highlight
In order to cultivate students' correct working
attitude, family responsibilities, financial management
concepts and understanding of life planning through
real social situations, we invited BGCA࠰ಥʃഁ໊ू
ึto hold a simulated social experience game during
2021-2022.
In 2019, our students held a booth in the Lunar
New Year Fair at Sha Tsui Road Playground. Through
this activity, students acquired the essence of
teamwork, communication skills, time management
skills and marketing skills and more.
