Principal Chow visits the students.

Participating in community service is a key strategy to
promote positive values and attitudes among students in
moral and civic education.

This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our school
organised “Virtual Visits to Nursing Homes” with The
Education University of Hong Kong for P.5 students. We
hope that our students would be able to learn to serve
and show love, care and empathy to the elderly.

Students show their drawings to the elderly. To prepare for the virtual visits, we arranged two
preparation periods for our students. In these two
lessons, they learnt the goodness of serving the elderly
through reading a picture book. They also learnt how
to communicate with senior citizens. Besides, they
prepared gifts and activities for the virtual visits.
