Character Building Lesson
Character Building Lesson
Character Building is to let our students undergo a
comprehensive and cohesive system of primary education
and develop into good citizens who are willing to learn in
a continuous manner.
Character Building (CB) Lesson falls under our school-
based formal curriculum. It is a fixed lesson scheduled
every week with plentiful activities. We aim to nurture our
students with the six core values Care, Respect, Integrity,
Responsibility, Commitment and Perseverance, as well
as other positive characters via experiential learning in
an authentic environment. Students face various options
and conflicts within the team and the class during CB
lessons. They have to discuss, compromise and finally Students work in a group and present their “boat” in the

suggestions for improvement.
We believe CB can engage students to be wise decision
makers and life-long learners who are self-motivated,
open-minded and have the wisdom and discernment
between right and wrong, and therefore taking a proactive
role in fulfilling their responsibilities as a good citizen.
Debriefing session is one of the most important parts in
the whole experience. Students are willing to participate
in the stories, learn from the experiential tasks and reflect
on the whole journey. Throughout the curriculum, we hope
our students can develop positive characters with Wisdom,
Faith and Love.
We encourage our students to take their responsibility
and solve problems via experiential tasks and discussion
with their teammates.
