passion lies in life.”
Under the frame of traditional values, some might say that
Alfred has chosen a different path, which has no guarantee
to be “successful”, as in the ability to make money. Alfred
had his own view on this, “Everyone’s life is supposed to be
different, and everyone has their own definitions of being
successful. But taking the first step matters to every aspect.
You will never know the outcome if you never try. If you refuse
to discover new things, you will never know what you are
really passionate about.”
“Follow your heart.”
Alfred was particularly grateful towards his parents for
supporting him in identifying his talents and following his
dream, he revealed, “My parents offered me the freedom
to go for what I am passionate about. They respected my
decision and provided me with guidance. More importantly,
they are my role models for life – from them, I learnt about
treating people with honesty and not forcing our values on
others. It is important to follow your heart and do something
you are truly passionate about.”
