6B Chang Tsz Kiu
Being in the Senior Dance Team was a new thing to me. I had
never done a contemporary piece or solo. My dancing teacher,
Miss Young, taught me a lot of advanced tricks and gave me
good advice. I learnt a lot of tricks like penche and no handed tilt.

I was proud of being the leading dancer in the team. It was School Teams
challenging for me because I had to use the tricks that I learnt
this year to lead my team. I also made my biggest improvement
in strength. Miss Young gave me a lot of tips on how to hold a
handstand longer.

The most important thing that I learnt in Miss Young’s classes
was never trust your fears and practise makes perfect. She even
taught me how to endure difficulties and start to practise little by
little.

Next year I am looking forward to joining the dance team in my
secondary school and hope I can learn more advanced tricks. I
would like to improve my techniques and moves and have more
facial expressions when I go on stage full of confidence.

6D Hui Hoi Lam

I am grateful that I joined the Dance Team. I am thankful 117
to all the Dance Team members and my Dance Team
teacher, Miss Young. I have learnt about teamwork
and communication skills. I made improvements on my
dancing skills. I am so proud of myself. Also, I taught 2019-2020 Harmony
my teammates how to do some dance steps. This year
my little sister who studies in P.4 joined the Dance Team
as well, and we could dance together. But to be honest,
when we had the Dance Team practice, I felt a little bit
embarrassed. I have changed my personality because
of the Dance Team. I am looking forward to my new
secondary school life as I want to learn more dancing
skills there. At last, I am very happy to be in the Dance
Team. Although this year the dance competition was
cancelled due to COVID-19, I enjoyed the time in the
Dance Team so much.
