5A Fok Tsz Yau School Teams

I am Trinity Fok from 5A. I have been a member of the
Cheerleading Team for four years since I was in Primary
Two. To me, teamwork is very important in cheerleading.
Since I am a tall member in the team, I have been in
the base position since the beginning. Every position in
cheerleading is equally crucial to the team. For example,
stunting especially requires teamwork. Cheerleaders must
work together to put up a stunt. One person alone cannot
complete a set of cheerleading movements. 113

For the past few years, we did not only attend many local competitions,
but also went to many different countries and cities, such as Japan and
Nanjing, to compete against other cheerleading teams. We earned many
awards from these competitions. I was very happy that I could be part of 2019-2020 Harmony
it. Not only did these competitions widen my horizons, but I also met many
awesome cheerleaders from different countries.

As a senior cheerleader this year, I try my best to take care of the juniors.
Assisting them to understand the importance of teamwork and guiding
them are my responsibilities. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we could
not practise as much as we wanted this year. It makes me treasure our time
together even more. Hopefully, we can gather and practise again soon.

Finally, I would like to thank Mr. Wong and Mr. Tang for their guidance and
patience. The cheerleading team could not be a success without their help.
