Blood Spatter–Be a Crime Scene Investigator
Pentecostal School modified the teaching
plan of Blood Spatter – Be a Crime Scene
Investigator designed by Maryknoll Fathers’
School and organized a new cross-curricular
STEM activity for F.4 students studying
Biology. The element of drama was included
in the activity. With creativity and imagination,
students performed a play on how the victim
was murdered and was recorded by iPad. This
play trained the creativity and cooperation of
students. It is hoped that a happy memory 《法證先鋒》 Blood Spatter
is created and their interest in science is
cultivated.
Learning focus:
Students scanned the QR code
to obtain information on the
relationship between plasma,
Biology
blood cells and DNA before class.
Teachers would then explain further
in class.
Students learnt about trigonometric
function. They were required to
Mathematics find out the angle of the spattering
of blood by sine ratio in order to
identify the point of injury.
