LKT’s annual Sports Day was held

on 23 to 24 September last year. When
we first saw the school calendar, we were
quite surprised, since our Sports Day was
quite late last year, but we were looking
forward to it. Those days were memorable.
We joined many events, including
the 100-metre race, shot put, and long
jump. Before the competitions began,
we had to listen to Mr. Wan’s and Mr
Yu’s precautions and rules as usual. That
day was a sunny and hot day, we got
an unintentional tan that day. The first
competition of the day was the 100-metre
race, which was one of our events. We
didn’t win a medal this year, but we tried
our best. When we didn’t have anything to
do, we cheered for our friends and walked
around to take photos with our classmates,
friends and teachers, which recorded
wonderful memories.
The cheering team performance was
held after lunch on both days. We three
helped cheer with the Form 1 students that
day. The Form 1 students worked hard
and were quite nervous, but they did a
good job. At the end, Red House won.
On the second day, the Fun Fun
Run was held. We were looking forward
to it. It is a fun activity where you can run
and take photos with our class. It’s quite
a memorable event, especially for Form 6
students. After the run, Form 6 students
played some mini games.
There is another activity, which
we found to be memorable. Since we are
members of Echo Theatre, we cheered
to encourage our members to run as fast
as they could. We took many photos too.
Although we didn’t win any prize, we had
a great time.
Sadly, this fun time had come to an
end. We were glad to have a great time at
last year’s Sports Day. These two days go
by so quickly, so we tried to enjoy it as
much as we could. We hope that this year’s
Sports Day can be as fun as last year’s!
