There are loads of haunted places all over the world. Almost every country or even city has at least one
of them. The following are some of the most haunted places on planet Earth.

Charleville Castle, which is a Gothic-style castle

TV channels such as Living TV’s Most Haunted and

paranormal activities such as seeing ghostly figures. The
most famous ghost is a little girl called Harriet, who died
after a fall from the staircase. Apart from the house
itself, a tree associated with the house, the King Oak
Tree, was nominated for the European Tree of the Year in 2013. The lore relating to the tree states that if a limb
falls from the tree, a member of the Bury family will die.

The Hotel Monte Vista has numerous
paranormal guests. The hotel, which opened in 1927
as the Community Hotel in San Francisco, has a
history of underground opium dens and gambling.
Today, the hotel is known for its paranormal
activities in some of the rooms and halls. For
example, guests who have stayed in room 220 have
experienced the TV changing channels on its own
accord. They also reported the sound of an infant
crying in the basement. One of the most disturbing
encounters is a phantom bellboy who knocks
on doors and announces “room service”. It was
constantly reflected that when guests open the door, no one is there. There has been no information that has
          explained this phenomenon.

The Myrtles Plantation, which was built in Louisiana, the United States in the late 18 century, is said to
be the home to at least 12 different ghosts. The ghost story firstly began with the tale of a former slave named
Chloe, who had her ear chopped off after she was caught eavesdropping. In seeking revenge, Chloe killed two
of the master’s daughters by poisoning a birthday cake. She was then hung by her fellow slaves. Up to now, she
is reportedly seen wandering the plantation with a turban on to conceal her ear.

Are you interested in visiting these haunted places? Some of them can still be visited until now. Sadly,
some of them have been abandoned due to some dangerous paranormal incidents, which were experienced by
          some visitors.
