How do students feel when they join
these two activities?

f course, some are glad whereas others are disappointed.
OI interviewed a friend who joined the 1500m event.
I wondered why she would choose to join that kind of
painstaking running race. She replied to me, ‘although a
few minutes or a few seconds of hard work may not get
an honour, the moment I crossed the finish line was worth
every effort I made in practice and the race. I felt so proud
of myself at that moment.’ After hearing that response, I
realized that winning or losing is not essential, but enjoying
the process is the real meaningful part.

A suggestion to make students enjoy
their school life more.

o help students enjoy their school life more, I
Tbelieve it is necessary to make students relax.
Therefore, I suggest that we can hold a camp after
final exam for students to play freely. Students
have to go through a tedious and exhausting
study period before exam. Who doesn’t want
a stress-free activity to relax? In the camp,
students can play ball games and card games
with friends. They can also play different
team activities which cannot be played during
school. Other than relaxing and building up
team spirit, there are still a lot of advantages. I
am sure that a camp like this can help students to
enjoy their school life more.
