Medium of Instruction

Hon Wah College has adopted English as the medium of instruction in some classes since 2008. In junior
forms, there are both EMI classes and CMI classes. For the two EMI classes in each junior form, some
subjects are taught in English. ALL subjects, except Chinese Language and Chinese History, are taught
in English for a class in junior forms. A strong interface has been built between junior forms and senior
forms in teaching medium.

Putonghua is adopted as the teaching medium in Chinese language for all form-levels.
