The MIT bootcamp
Embarking on their entrepreneurial journey and equipping themselves with relevant
mindset and skills for starting a successful venture, five Shunleers participated in a
6-day startup programme organized by the MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node in mid-
July. They are here to share with you the tips of being a successful entrepreneur.

you are, you won’t succeed if you just work alone. It is through
teamwork and effective communication that our team has become
united. Unity outweighs any prize. Unity is the power, especially
when we encounter uncertainties and challenges.

at creating new ideas while others are good at programming.

other summer – sleeping, eating and watching TV. I had never
imagined I would learn formulating marketing strategies at the
end of my S3 study. The MIT bootcamp added vibrancy to my
summer vacation and widened my horizons. While working
with other elite students, not only have I improved my English
proficiency, but also my communication skills. Though I am
not tech-savvy, I contributed my talents to the product design,
which was appreciated by the MIT instructors. At the end of
the programme, my team was awarded the championship

the programme is not just entrepreneurship skills. I have
also developed a better understanding of my strengths
and weaknesses and the precious friendship with my team
members.
