Should the Use of Mobile

Phones be Allowed in School?

There is a trend that some schools allow students to use their phones in
school. However, some schools don’t allow students to use it or even show

their phone. In my opinion, I reckon that we should not use mobile phone in
school.

First of all, if the school allows students to use their phone in school at
recess, they will have less face-to-face interaction. After a long period of

time, maybe they don›t know how to talk with one another. Also, you and your
friends chat less so your friendship is not just like before.

Next, the recess is actually too short. Although some students can choose
not to go to the toilet or drink water at recess, they need a long period of time
to complete the games on their phone. And some students don’t want to
exit in the middle of the game, so they will think about the game in the whole

lesson.

Lastly, nowadays, people like to use mobile phone more than camera to take
photos. So, when we need to copy a lot of things or even the notes on the
blackboard, some students may choose to take photos instead of copying

all the notes. If they don’t copy the notes once by themselves, they cannot
really learn the knowledge. And when they have the test or exam, their results
will be worse than before.

To conclude, if the school allows students to use their mobile phone in school,
there will be a lot of disadvantages.
