A trip to Japan
2B (27) Tang Choi Lam, Natalie
Hello everyone! I am Chris Wong, who went to Japan with my father, mother
and brother during the summer holiday. It was my first time that I went to
Japan. It was fun and I enjoyed this trip very much. In fact, I want to write this
entry to you guys because I want to tell you how polite the Japanese are and
share some interesting things with you guys.
In this trip, I think the most unforgettable thing was that when I was having
breakfast in the hotel, I wanted to drink some juice. Then, I went out and took
it. However, I dropped the glass suddenly and my T-shirt got all wet. I didn’t
know what I could do because I didn’t know how to speak Japanese and my
parents were far away from me. After that, some Japanese came to me. I felt
afraid because I thought they were going to punish me at that time. However,
they didn’t. They came and then helped me to clean the table and gave me
some tissue paper. They were super polite and kind! Moreover, they were not
the staff in the hotel, they were the customers. Wow! Therefore, I said “Thank
you” to them for many times, ha!
After this interesting experience, I think Hong Kong people are absolutely
different. They don’t help the people who are in need. We must learn from the
behaviors of the Japanese, such as, when someone needs help, we need to
give them a hand, no matter what. Also, if we help people, we will be very glad
too.
In conclusion, helping people is a virtue. We all can do it.
