I want to be a vet

Animals can get sick easily. They may have bad breath, coughs, sneezes as well as changes in
appetite, just like what we experience when we fall ill. They need care and medical treatment,
just like what we need. Therefore, I want to be a vet in the future so that I can save their lives.
Vets always appear in the animal clinics and hospitals. When an ill animal is brought to the vet,
the vet examines it to find out the diagnosis and gives proper medical treatment. If an animal is
severely injured, the vet will perform surgery. They also look for clues to diagnose an animal’s
disease through blood tests, x-rays and other tests. Then, the vet will determine what kind of
medication that should be given to the sick animals.
A vet needs to be caring, patient and easy going. I am confident that I have what it takes to
be a good vet. I get along with small animals and have a strong sense of responsibility to take
care of them. I will put more efforts to study science so that I can be knowledgeable enough to
understand the different animals’ diseases.
Life can never be traded with money because it is too precious.

I want to be a teacher

I want to be a teacher when I grow up, because I love children and I enjoy teaching.
If I become a teacher, I will teach students and mark workbooks. I will also work in a school.
I will go to work on weekdays from seven a.m. to six p.m.
I am very easy-going, outgoing and good-tempered, but I am not knowledgeable. I am good
at English and I am good at taking care of children. I can build good relationships between
me and my students. I have a loud voice so the students in the back seats could still hear
me. The job of being a teacher requires us to be knowledgeable, outgoing and good-
tempered. I meet those requirements. Nevertheless, I don’t have a lot of knowledge at the
moment so I need to study hard and work hard at school. I also need to read more books.

My unforgettable holiday

Last summer holiday, my parents and I spent it in Canada. It was very different from my
usual holidays. It was my first time to go to Vancouver. We stayed in my grandma’s house.
It was an enjoyable and unforgettable trip.
We arrived Canada in the afternoon, it was cold. On the first day, my parents went
shopping with my relatives in the morning. We looked at the scenery of the countryside in
the afternoon. We enjoyed the beautiful views and we took many photos. At night, we went
to a restaurant and we tasted some special local food. We had some yummy salmon.
Next day morning, we went to a large farm in the city. We enjoyed picking strawberries
that were big and sweet. In the afternoon, I went to a playground with my cousins. We did
roller skating. We were delighted that we could have our happy gathering in Vancouver. At
night, we went to another restaurant for dinner with my relatives.
In the last day, my cousins and I were reluctant to leave Vancouver. It was an unforgettable
summer holiday. I felt excited because it was my first trip to Canada.

I had a wonderful trip last week. My parents took my cousin, Migi and me to
Okinawa, Japan. I have never been there! It was an enjoyable and memorable trip.
We arrived at Motobu Genki Village in the morning. There were families playing
with dolphins. I wanted to join them at once. We played with dolphins happily.
What an amazing experience!
After playing with the dolphins, Migi and I joined a glass making workshop. I made
a blue shining glass with some little yellow stars. The glass was so beautiful!
At the end of the trip, we watched sea animals in Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium.
It is one of the most popular aquariums in Japan. I saw the big whale shark
swimming in the gigantic tank.
Although I was reluctant to leave Okinawa, we had to go to the airport. It was an
unforgettable holiday with Migi. I hope I can go there again.
