In the library
6A Ho Pak Hei
Last Sunday, Janice called March, ‘Let’s go to the library to find some information for the
homework.’ Marcus replied, ‘OK!’
While Janice and Marcus were looking for the books, some people were reading books.
Janice chose a fiction book and Marcus chose a non-fiction books.
When Janice was finding the information, suddenly, Marcus tore a page of the book and put
the paper into his bag. Janice saw that and said softly, ‘No! You can’t do it.’ However, Marcus
didn’t listen to Janice and he told Janice not to tell the others. He said this page could help
him with his homework.
At last, when Janice and Marcus left the library, suddenly, the light of the library didn’t work.
After a few minutes, the light was fixed and the security guard checked all the bags of the
people who had come to the library. They wanted to check whether the people stole the
books from the library when the light was off. Finally, the security guard caught Marcus and
asked Marcus’ parents to pay for the book.

Lucy's Christmas

6A Wu Chi Kiu
Last year, Lucy had a special experience at Christmas. She wrote a letter to Santa
Claus because she wanted to have a doll. Next day, Lucy sent out the letter.
Two weeks later, it was Christmas Eve. Since Lucy’s parents were so busy that they could
only have Christmas dinners on that day. Although Lucy’s dad and mum were busy, she did
not feel upset. After that, Lucy and her family went to Tsim Sha Tsui to look at the Christmas
light. Lucy was very excited. She said, ‘The lights are so beautiful! Lucy’s dad and mum
smiled.
However, the time was late and Lucy was tired so they went home. Lucy slept quickly in the
bedroom. After a while, Lucy wanted to go to the washroom. Suddenly, she saw Santa Claus.
She was shocked. At first, Lucy thought it was Santa Claus, but she saw him holding a knife.
She screamed, ‘Help! Help!’ The thief was scared. He wanted to kill Lucy, Luckily Lucy’s father
fought with the thief and the thief fainted.
At last, some police caught the thief. One of the police said, ‘Thank you, little girl. We have
looked for him for a long time.’ Lucy was delighted.

My unforgettable holiday

My last summer holiday was different from my usual holidays. My parents took me to Macao. It
was my first time to go there. Our destination was a beach resort in Macao. It was an exciting trip.
We arrived the resort. After we put down our luggage, we went to watch a circus show. There
were a lot of shows. We thought that it was very interesting. Then, we went to visit a museum.
The museum had a lot of historical items and it was very big so I felt very surprised. That night,
we watched the firework display. The firework was very beautiful because it had different colours.
The next day, we went to Black Sand Bay to swim. The sand was black. After we swam, we went
to the country park to have a barbecue. The chicken wings and sausages were very yummy.
At the end of the trip, I was reluctant to leave. This was my unforgettable summer holiday. I hope
I will visit there again in the coming holidays. My parents promised to take me to the resort again.

I want to be a doctor
6B Cheung Wai Ying Winnie
Doctors take care of sick and injured people. Also, they perform surgery and give medicine to
the people.
When people are ill or injured, doctors play an important role because doctors need to do
treatment on them. Besides, doctors face the challenge of trying to heal people on a daily basis.
Doctors work in different places. Some work in hospitals and some work in clinics.
I think I am a good fit for this job because I am good at biology and chemistry. Moreover, I am
caring and hard-working.
All doctors need to study biology, chemistry and science. Doctors need to be calm and caring
too. I hope I can be a doctor in the future.
