The Three Little Mice and the Hungry Cat

4A Chu Kai Yin Himson
Once upon a time, there were three little mice and a hungry cat on the grassland. The hungry
cat wanted to eat the three little mice. The mice knew it and they hid in Sam’s clothes.
The first mouse was smart. He hid on Sam’s shoulder. He thought he was safe. However,
the cat could still find him. He was afraid.
The second mouse was smarter. He hid under Sam’s armpit. He thought the cat could not
find him. At that moment, the cat came and saw the second mouse. He was afraid too.
The third mouse was the smartest. He hid in Sam’s mouth. He knew the cat was very clever,
so he hid in Sam’s mouth. At the same time, the cat came. The cat could not find him.
At last, the hungry cat ate the two mice and the third mouse survived.

My family
4A Lam Yu Yin, Jenny
My name is Jenny. I have four family members. They are my father, mother, brother and me. We live in Lai King.
My younger brother is one year younger than me. He always plays. He usually swims, He often goes cycling.
He sometimes reads books. He seldom skips. He never goes jogging.
I am 138cm tall. My brother is 130cm tall. I am taller than him. I am 33kg. My brother is 30kg. He is lighter than
me. His hair is shorter than mine.
I am helpful because I always help the teachers. I am smart. My brother is hard-working because he always
does revision.
I appreciate all the things that my family do for me. I am thankful for them in my heart. I love my family!

Jack's birthday surprise
4B Chong Ching Wa, Chloe
Jack loved sugary food very much. He ate a lot of sugary food every day but he didn’t eat vegetables.
His mum was worried.
Tomorrow would be Jack’s birthday. His mum said, “Jack, tomorrow is your birthday. I’ll make a cake
for you.” Jack was delighted. He thought the birthday cake would be delicious.
The next day, jack was surprised because his birthday cake was a veggie cake. He said, “Mum, why is
my birthday cake a veggie cake?”
Mum joked with jack, “If you don’t eat vegetables, you will see this cake every birthday!” At last, Jack
ate the veggie cake and he said, “Mum, I will eat vegetables but I don’t want to see this cake anymore,”

Jack and his mum were having lunch. They eat different food for lunch. Jack ate a lot of sugary
food and his mum ate healthy food. Mum said, “Jack, you should eat healthy food? But Jack said,
“No mum, I don’t want to eat because vegetables are too disgusting” so mum was very worried.
“Jack, I will make a birthday cake for you because tomorrow is your birthday,” mum said. Jack felt
surprised because he thought mum would make a beautiful and delicious cake for his birthday.
Today was his birthday! Mum gave a veggie cake to Jack. Jack said, “Where is my cake?” Mum
said,” This is your birthday cake.” “I don’t want to eat the veggie cake,” Jack felt sad. Mum said,
”You must eat it.” Then, Jack ate a bit and said, “ It is very digusting!”
