Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS)
students in STCC
NCS students are admitted to help
boost STCC’s EMI atmosphere.
They are arranged in the same
classes as local students so as to
add to the multi-cultural learning
environment. STCC supports their
need to obtain good results for
different international exams so
they may enroll in local universities
successfully. As well as various
activities inside and outside
of school, we all provide NCS
students with tailor-made Chinese
lessons and Chinese Cultural
Studies which helps develop their 1 2
interest in the ancient Chinese
culture. In such a harmonious
atmosphere, our NCS students
have developed friendships
with local students and actively
participate in all subjects and
extra-curricular activities.

1. NCS and local students painted together.
2. In this year’s CNY carnival, NCS students learnt to write Fai
Chun. They also shared the New Year traditions of their home
countries with our local students.
3. NCS students learnt more about the local community and the
needs of the underprivileged in our society when they took
part in a poverty caring programme. They showed their love
and concern for people who needed it.
4. Principal Tsui celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival with our NCS
students. STCC has such a diverse family.
5. Students organised their own local tours in which they
interviewed tourists from all over the world. They left a lot of
remarkable footprints in different parts of Hong Kong.
