As we all know, one of the best periods for teenagers to learn a
language is when they are in secondary school. Apart from the
curriculum inside classrooms, the English Department also sees
the activities outside of the classroom as part of our educational 1
programme for maintaining the learning interest among students,
as well as sharpening their language skills. Throughout the

2. Joint-school Oral Practice - One of our usual practices
is to run joint-school oral practices so as to better equip
our students for the HKDSE. Two schools nearby,
United Christian College (Kowloon East) and Sing Yin
Secondary School, co-ran the activity with us.
3. International Culture (IC) Week - IC Week is an annual
highlight in our school. The theme this year was Korean
Culture. Starting on Monday, 18 March 2019, and held
at lunchtimes, the week kicked off with a Running Man
2 activity. Do you like the six hearts?
4. Taekwondo is a popular sport in Korea. Our guests,
Master Nae No and his students, from NRG Taekwondo
Korea were invited to give a demonstration on the sport.
They also did a K-pop Taekwondo dance.
5. German Speaking Classes - Berni, the exchange student
from Germany, ran a series of German lessons in the
English Corner. She taught German to her peers. She
definitely had the potential to be a great teacher.
