Career Guidance Committee
A Whole School Approach:
Dream with passion. Serve with heart.
The Career Guidance Committee encourages the
pursuit of dreams and calling among the future pillars
of the society. This year, through the partnerships
amongst our communities, families and schools, we
offered different learning experiences based on our
students’ developmental needs with the aim that they
enhanced their self-understanding, explored their
interests and actualised their goals. Upon completion
of secondary school education, our students will be
well-equipped with the values, skills and knowledge 1
for their continued study and future careers.
1. In the S.6 Mentorship Program, STCC Alumni shared their goals,
study paths and strategies for facing the HKDSE. They empowered and
enthused S.6 students to follow their passions despite their forward-facing
challenges.
2. In our Home-School Workplace Learning Program, Mrs Yuen kindly
opened the doors of the Hello Kitty Health Centre to our S.5 Biology
students. Students gained a deeper understanding of the nursing industry
and the benefits of vaccines.
3. The Home-School Workplace Learning Program invited Mrs Lau, the CEO
of ErgoBoss Company, to share her work experience and values with S.4
and S.5 students currently studying Economics and Business.

4. Non-Chinese Speaking Students
Career Program facilitated the learning
of students with different cultural
backgrounds. They explored their
strengths, interests and various study
and career paths available to them in
Hong Kong.
5. The Career Prefect Team organised
career activities and promoted the idea 3 4
of study and career exploration among
schoolmates. Through gaining different
career experiences and reflecting on
this knowledge, prefects helped nurture
others to make responsible and informed
choices in their lives and future careers.
6. Representatives of KonKuk University
introduced the educational requirements
and the learning environment of
their university in Korea so students
could consider an alternative path in
continuing tertiary education. 5 6
