Study Tour to Malaysia
4A Tse Chin Nang
I joined the study tour to Malaysia as I love travelling.
I have never been to Malaysia and I wanted to
explore the country. Also, I wanted to learn the
culture there as I heard from my friends that it is
extraordinary: the local food (e.g. Sambal Belacan) is
delicious, the durians are the best among the Asian The yellow duck at the airport
countries and so on. I had done a lot of research(e.g.
the most popular local food in Malaysia, the history of
Malaysia) before setting off. I was thrilled and could
not wait for the tour.
On the first day of the tour, all of us arrived at the
airport at 6.00am punctually. We visited Twin Tower
after we arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International
Airport. In my opinion, Twin Towers are not really tall.
They are just like the normal buildings in Hong Kong. I don't want to say goodbye to my friend!
Then we went to Masjid Putra and explored other Malaysia Study Tour
unique buildings. The most special one was a pink-
domed mosque. Afterthoughts
The most special day of the trip was the second day
on which we visited a local middle school - SMK Seri 5D William Poon

piano in the SMK Seri Kembangan while we were
having traditional Malaysian and Indian lunch. After I
finished my recital, all of the students and teachers,
including the SMK students, clapped their hands
loudly and shouted, “encore, encore!!” I felt really
fantastic!
The best place that I have visited in Malaysia was the
Upside-down House. We visited it on Day 3. It was

It is my pleasure to perform my music! and I took lots of hilarious photos together.
I enjoyed myself throughout the trip, but the most
impressive part is the SMK Seri Kembangan
experience exchange day. On that day, I attended the
lesson with the SMK students, and they took good
care of me. My buddy, Min Ann, showed me around
their school and introduced the traditional Malaysian
food in their canteen. I experienced the life of a local
student.
I have gained a lot in this tour. What I gained most
was that I spoke more English. Besides, I played the

like San, Alvin and Jason. They were adorable.
Generally speaking, I have learnt a lot. I am sure this
tour is memorable to all my schoolmates!
It is so fresh!
