                                  Fifteen hours

                                                       2C Ma Cheuk Yeung

One day, the world was under attack by a new virus. The infected people changed to
          zombies.
‘Tom! Tom! Wake up!’ cried Sammy.

‘Sammy, Tom has already been bitten by a zombie. We can’t save him! We need to go
          now!’ Jacky said.

              ‘But I…’ Sammy hesitated.
‘I know how you feel but we don’t have enough time! They are coming after us. I don’t
want to be one of them,’ Jacky added.

‘I am so sorry for you, Tom!’ Sammy said, looking at Tom for the last time.

An hour later, Tom woke up.
‘Ar… I’ve got a huge headache. Where are Jackie and Sammy?’ Tom shouted.
‘Oh my god! My hand is changing to black! I prefer to die than to become a monster!’ Tom
exclaimed. He picked up his pistol and pointed it at his head. When he was about to fire, he
heard some noise. He tried to find where the noise was coming from. It was coming from a
          crying baby.

‘Anyway, I will die very soon. Maybe I should help him,’ Tom thought as he reflected about
his suicidal attempt. He picked up the baby and tried to stop its’ crying. He found a bag to carry
the baby on his back. He took out his map which showed him a safe area 3 miles away. He
calculated that he only had fifteen hours left.

Tom climbed the mountains and crossed a river. Finally, he found a house. It seemed that
there was a party before the zombies’ attacked. He ate some cake and gave the baby some
milk. He also blew a balloon to comfort the baby.
‘Boom!’ Sammy shot Tom down. Tom’s eyes changed into white. Tom made it. He had
brought the baby to the safe area. Sammy and Jacky buried Tom. They put flowers on the
earth, wishing Tom well in another world.
