Interview with our Vice Principal

            Ms Cheung Pui Shan

          1. Sabrina: Some junior form
            students may not know you
very well, can you share your
            background with us?

Ms Cheung: I am a Biology
            teacher. I teach Senior Form
            Biology and Religious Studies.
            Previously, I taught Junior form
            Integrated Science. I have been
working at PESS for over 10
years. I like talking with students
            and communicating with them.
Actually I have high expectati ons
on our students as I think they
can do well by unearthing their
            potenti al with proper guidance.

          2. Sam: Do you enjoy being the Vice Principal of our school?

Ms Cheung: Being a Vice Principal is very challenging, I am extremely busy every day. But I enjoy
working with our colleagues, guiding students to grow up with love and developing their potenti al.
I like teaching very much as it can develop their knowledge.

          3. Austin: What do you think about our students?

Ms Cheung: PESS students are pure like a piece of blank paper. They are easily aff ected by others
like classmates and teachers. They are joyful in living but passive in learning. I do want our students
to become more proacti ve so that they can know more and become more successful.

          4. Sabrina: I guess you are very busy as you are a Vice Principal and a Biology teacher at the
same time. How do you allocate your time well?

Ms Cheung: I work over 12 hours a day. I also want to know how to work more effi ciently. If you
have any suggesti ons, you are welcome to tell me.

          5. Sam: You have been teaching for so many years. Do you have any memorable moments?

Ms Cheung: There are many memorable moments. A few years ago, I had surgery on both of
my feet and at that ti me I could barely walk. Aft er I was discharged from hospital, I convalesced
at home for almost 2 months. Since my husband needed to work, I was responsible for many
household chores, such as preparing lunch and dinner, etc. At that time, a group of graduated
students took turns to accompany me and took care of me. They lightened up my life during my
            dark days.
