S.4 The First Runner-up 4A (31) Pat Cheung Ho

I had always dreamt of going to Utah, a state in
the USA ,because one of my idols, Ronnie Shalvis;
a parkour athlete, free-runner, stuntman and part
of the EBR stunt team, lives there. Finally, I got a
chance to head there this year.

Before getting on the plane, I texted Ronnie to
inform him of my schedule to Utah and to see if
he would like to hang out someti me. Fortunately,
he was quite free and willing to hang out. To be honest, it felt like a dream
coming true to me. I couldn’t help myself to calm down during the fl ight.

Aft er the landing, I headed straight to the hotel, which was right next to
a parkour gym. We spent the rest of the day in the hotel room to recover
from the jet.

The next day, I woke up early so that I could jog around the hotel. Aft er
that, I took a nice hot shower before I went to the parkour gym to meet
up with Ronnie and his friends, who are also parkour athletes.

I was sti ll in disbelief that I hung out with them, and it was a great honor
for me to do so. I picked up a few tricks from them like backflips, back
handsprings and butt erfl y twists.

I also went to Salt Lake City in Utah with my family. It was indeed a very
amazing place. The view was astonishing and I was shocked by it.

Overall, it was an unforgett able travel experience and I was very glad to
have the opportunity to go there and meet up with my idol.
