provided a system with flexible and Blooming in grace
free subject choices that can cater for
the diversified needs and interests of
different students. In the past years,
over 90% of the S3 students had their
first three subject options fulfilled.
Students can also opt for the study of
Mathematics Extension Module 2 (M2).

In response to Education Bureau measures in 2021 to “Optimise the Four Senior Secondary
Core Subjects”, we completed a reform in the senior secondary curriculum structure to optimise
the 4 core subjects, enabling all Senior Secondary (SS) students to take three elective subjects,
broadening their knowledge base, creating spaces for students and engaging in a more in-depth
study of subjects, M2 and other learning experiences. Furthermore, starting from 2021-22, a new
DSE subject, Tourism and Hospitality Studies, has been introduced, widening the choices of SS 50 th Anniversary
students and they now can opt for three DSE subjects out of 10 electives offered.
