After these two years, I’m delighted to have joined The New
Era of AGTD programme and I have learnt a lot from it. I’ve
learnt the skills in asking questions, realised the importance of
language skills and mind maps and found my learning styles.
The most unforgettable part of the lessons was the Nearpod
session. We all got to share what we learnt in that lesson. I
really enjoyed listening to others’ opinions. My goal is to
improve my skills in asking questions as they will help
my future a lot. I love to be a part of the programme. I
hope I will still be a member of it next year.

Due to COVID-19, we had all lessons virtually via Zoom. It was quite
different from the previous year because we had face-to-face lessons
when I was in the Basic Programme. Although we had lessons via
Zoom, it was still a meaningful programme.
I have learnt how to use mind maps, quality matters more than
quantity, the key point in learning Mandarin and more. This
scheme taught me every aspect of learning and helped me a lot.
One time, our school invited Mr. Steven Ma as our guest and
gave us the opportunity to practise our interviewing skills. It was
a valuable and pleasant experience to interact with him. We asked him questions
on four topics: Personal Learning Journey, The True Spirit of a Performing Artist,
The Qualities of a Good Leader, and Dream and Commitment in Education. This
experience was super-duper unforgettable – I could not believe I could have a talk
and interview with a celebrity!
I make fewer careless mistakes now when I am doing exercises or practices.
Additionally, I have a few changes in the way I learn too. Therefore I think joining
the programme was a turning point in my primary school life.
I am glad that I could join The Project of The New Era of Amazing Grace of Talent
Development. I hope I can join this programme again next year. It will be the last
year of my primary school life and I would like to do my best in everything I can.
Thank you to all the teachers and special thanks to Principal Chow.
