6A Wong Ting Shu
I have joined the Art Club
since Primary Four. I was
overjoyed when I knew
that I could join the Club
because drawing is one of
my favourite things to do. I
find drawing very entertaining
and relaxing. It also helps me
express my feelings.

When I was in Primary Three, I heard many
interesting experiences from my classmates who
were in the Art Club. And I saw many attractive
and fantastic drawings in the school booklet
named Harmony. I was so lucky that I could be
selected into the Art Club in Primary Four.
We had fun during the lessons. Moreover, we
needed to be on duty in the Art Room once a
week. I enjoyed helping the junior students with
their artwork. The wall painting on the second
floor was designed by me, and I drew it with my
partners. I learnt that creativity and teamwork
are important in doing group projects.

I have many opportunities to learn and create
artwork with others. However, during the
COVID-19 pandemic, we could only attend
Zoom lessons. It was not easy for us to
communicate with each other, especially when
we encountered some technical problems which
required teachers’ assistance.

Nevertheless, I have many pleasurable and
unforgettable moments with other students in the
Art Club. In our final art project, I used different
materials to create a hat. It was my last artwork
in my primary school, and I will keep drawing in
the future. I am grateful to all my art teachers,
members and my parents for they always support
and encourage me!
