Echoes Towards Gratitude

              Since 1997, Anthony has been taking an active role in community affairs. He was
          Senior Vice President of the Chinese Catholic Community Inc. He became a member of the

          Lions Club of Sydney Chinese in 1999 and has been elected Club President on nine separate
          occasions. He was District Governor of Lions District 201N5 which covers the Sydney
          Metropolitan area in 2014-2015.

              With friends from Xian City, ShaanXi Province, he formed the Australian Shaanxi
          Overseas Friendship Association in 2002 and became its President. Ten years in a row, at the
          invitation of the ShaanXi Government, he led Australian contingents to ShaanXi Province at
          Qing Ming Festival in April each year to take part in the grand annual ceremony of paying

          respect and tribute to Xuan Yuan Huang Di(軒轅黃帝), the common ancestor of the

                                                                      誼會)and had the honour of being
                                                                      selected to represent all overseas
                                                                      ethnic Chinese for wreath laying

              In the late 2000s, at the request of the Xian Municipal Government, Anthony was
          instrumental in forging a Friendship City alliance between Xian City and Hornsbyshire,

          Sydney. Today, a full scale terra cotta warrior replica standing guard in the Hornsbyshire
          Council Chambers, courtesy of the Xian Government, is testament to this precious alliance.

                                                     Over an amazing half a century has now elapsed
                                                 since his first tutorial at NCE with Mr Wong. The green
                                                 17 year old lad has now become a grey 71 year old
                                                 grandpa. This grandpa is now more and more like a
                                                 teacher as his career developed and blossomed over the

                                                 past decades. The skills and know how that he acquired
                                                 at NCE have proven to be vital corner stones for his
                                                 professional development.

                                                Order of Australia (OAM).
