Dear Oscar,
How are you ? How’s it going in Canada? Are you busy preparing for your trip to
Japan? I want to tell you about the different interesting and famous places in Hong
Kong.
I have been to Disneyland. I’ve been there once. I rode on some very fun rides!
They were exciting! I took photos with the famous cartoon characters too! They were
very kind! I’m grateful that I went there.
Second, I have been to the Ocean Park. I’ve been there twice. How many times have you been there? I rode
on some spectacular rides such as the roller coasters. I have also taken pictures with the mascots. Which one’s
your favourite? I had fun in Ocean Park. I felt amazed and excited.
Third, I have been to the Science Museum. I have been there once. I saw some dinosaur bones and I got
shocked because of how humungous the bones are! Then, I went to look at the displays which showed some
shocking facts! I was so amazed.
What impression did I give you about Hong Kong? Do you like it? I hope you can come to Hong Kong in the
future so we can visit the fun places together happily! Please write back soon.

An Unforgettable Trip

5D Man Lok Yi, Lucy

Alex and his family went to the Ocean Park yesterday. They got there by bus.
First, they took some photos at the Grand Aquarium. They saw many sharks and
different kinds of fish. The sharks were scary and the fish was beautiful.
Then, they rode on the cable car and looked at the beautiful view. They arrived
at the peak of the park. They watched the dolphin show, rode on the roller coaster
and visited different attractions such as the South Pole Spectacular and the North
Pole Encounter.
After that, they looked at the giant pandas. Suddenly, Alex got lost. His parents
were very worried. They looked for him, Alex was very scared.
Finally, his parents went to the customer service centre and asked the staff
for help. The staff helped them to find Alex. Then they found Alex. They were very
grateful to the staff. What an unforgettable trip!
