Art of the Olympians

Neil Eckersley and Kader Klouchi introduce themselves to our students as soon as they have arrived.
In a sunny morning on 11 July 2016, a group
of senior secondary students gathered at the Art
Room expecting special guests. These special
guests would unveil their unique lives, which
most of us could only dream of. They are former
Olympians, Neil Eckersley and Kader Klouchi.
Undeniably, being former Olympians tells
you something about how good they are at sport.
You might think they came to our school to talk
about sport, but they were at the Art Room for a
different reason. In fact, the two guests have one
more thing in common – they are both artists.
Neil Eckersley, a former UK Judo Olympian
who represented (代表) the country at 1984 and
1988 Olympic Games, finds painting the perfect
