5E Fung Yin Hei

I have been a member of the Math Olympiad School Team for three
years. I developed my knowledge in solving math problems. Also, I
made lots of friends in the team who had the same interest. I had
school team training every Thursday afternoon, which enhanced my
math skills and prepared me for different Math Olympiad competitions.
In the different competitions I joined, there were individual and group
sessions. Joining competitions in groups gave me a chance to
learn how to cooperate with others and learn from each other. I am
honoured to be a member of the Math Olympiad School Team. I hope
I can keep learning in the team.

6A Chan Kai Yui Marcus

It has been a privilege for me to participate in different Olympiad
competitions since I was selected to be a member of the Math
Olympiad School Team in P.4. I have won many individual awards
and have learnt tremendously. Each contest motivates me to
learn more new math concepts. For me, it is a stepping stone
to discover the world of mathematics which is fun and practical.

Apart from individual awards and achievements, group contests
are equally rewarding. I have learnt a lot from my teammates
who are brilliant at math. From the competitions, I have learnt
the importance of teamwork and how to remain calm when we
come across a challenging question.

All in all, I enjoy spending time with friends who share similar

interests. Being passionate about Math Olympiad, we hope we
can bring honour to our school by winning more awards.

6D Chan Tung Fai
I am Michael Chan from Class 6D. I have joined the Mathematics
Olympiad School Team for three years. I have become fully acquainted
with other companions who are also fond of mathematics. Also, I
participated in different competitions and received some awards in
these years, for instance, the Huaxiabei National Mathematics Olympic
Invitation Competition 2019 (Hong Kong District) and the Joseph-
W F Joseph Lee Primary School
Louis Lagrange Primary Schools Mathematics Competition. We need
to build up solidarity to accomplish our goal – to win. Even though
the training is arduous, it is enjoyable to maintain a discussion of
mathematics with my companions. Joining the Mathematics Olympiad
School Team not only broadened my horizons, but also enriched my
primary school life. I hope to become more competent in mathematics,
and I would like to join more competitions in the coming future.
