6B Lau Sin Yan
There are a wide variety of after-school
activities in our school. All of them are great.
However, I love Chinese Debate Team most!
Not only does debate train my critical thinking
skills, but also improve my presentation skills!
I met many schoolmates in the debate team,
and they helped me a lot! I am glad that I have
been promoted to be the team captain. I hope

I can keep on learning about Chinese debate
when I grow up! Thank you!

6B Lui Pui Ying

Time really does fly. I have joined the
school’s debate team for about three
years. The word “debate” represents an

argument in the eyes of people. From my
point of view, “debate” means we can still
respect others’ viewpoints, even if we do
not agree with them.

During these three years, I took part in
different types of debate competitions.
While there were difficulties along the way,
I turned them into stepping stones. People
may think that debate is easy. But when
one becomes a member of the debate

team, he/she will find that debate is not
easy at all.

At last, I would like to thank my teachers
and teammates for teaching me so much.
I want to encourage everyone to strive, to
seek, to find, and not to yield.
