5D Chan Chun Ka
This year, we could not attend the competition of
Odyssey of the Mind (OM) because of the coronavirus
pandemic. We have been preparing since September,
and we made the props every week during those months.
Although it was a bit hard for us to make a perfect one,
we tried our best. I remember once we made a box by
cutting some squares, it was so hard to cut the line
straight. We then tried again and again to cut a straight
line. I am so sad about not being able to join OM next
year. I hope the P.4 teammates can win for us next year.
I also hope the pandemic can be gone soon.

5D Hui Cheuk Sum

My duty in the Odyssey of the Mind (OM)Team is to make the
structure. Making structure is not as easy as you think. From
picking piece of wood to putting them together, there are so many
steps behind. We have to find some suitable ones with the right
weight, size and length. After that, we need to stick different parts
together. Also, we have to measure the exact size in order to cut
the perfect shapes we want. Although sticking things seems so
easy, we need to concentrate on doing it to avoid sticking our
hands to the pieces of wood.
I am so disappointed and sad that I cannot attend this competition
94 this year. I hope the coronavirus will go away as soon as possible.

5E Kwok Tsz Yau
I am very proud to be a member of the Odyssey of the
Mind (OM) team. Sadly, because of COVID-19, the
competition was cancelled. This year, I chose the job
W F Joseph Lee Primary School
of script writing, and I found it hard to write a creative
script. Luckily, my teammates helped me a lot. We
shared many interesting ideas, so we managed to write
the script in time before the competition. I hope I can join
the competition next year. If I cannot, I still hope I can
share my experience with the team next year. I wish the
OM members next year good luck!
