說故事 現場作文比賽

中文創意寫作班 多元化學習活動及比賽
中文科除常規中文課堂外，也會為學生舉行不同的學習活
動，如全方位學習日、普通話園地遊戲等，豐富學生的學習經
歷，並營造普通話語境。除校內活動外，本校學生亦參加了不同
的比賽，如校際朗誦節及現場作文比賽，並在比賽中獲得佳績。
教師專業發展

為了提升學與教效能，老師定期進行共同備課和觀課交流。
本科同時亦會定期舉行工作坊，讓老師掌握最新的教育趨勢。

培養學生自學能力 創意寫作拔尖課程
鼓勵學生運用電子平台—快樂閱讀花園、智愛中文平台， 為了發揮學生的潛能，我們在課後舉行創意寫作班，發掘
進行網上閱讀及自主學習。在寫作課上，學生亦會互相觀摩同學 具良好寫作能力潛質的學生加以培訓，並鼓勵他們參與不同的
作品，並進行自評及互評。 校外寫作比賽及考試。

Junior Intercultural Fair 2019

The emphasis of the Intercultural Fair 2019 is for participants to learn through experiencing different cultures
and having fun, 15 of our P.4 and P.5 students had an extraordinary English learning experience at Tai Kok Tsui
Catholic Primary School (Hoi Fan Road) on the 7 of December.

Over 620 students from 31 primary schools participated in the Junior Intercultural Fair. Exchange students
from 20 countries had worked hard to decorate 20 different classrooms. The venue was transformed into a carnival
with various rooms or corners representing different countries and cultures. Students took part in traditional
games, dance, singing, face-painting, drama, and sports activities which are culturally specific.
Greeted by young people from all over the world, especially the workshops conducted by the exchange
students of Hungary, Germany, Italy and Canada, our students were given a chance to learn languages and cultures in an enriching way. The
Fair does not only offer students a great opportunity to broaden their horizons, but also to communicate with others in English.

Ocean Park

In January 2020, a group of students took a trip to Ocean Park. Upon arrival, the
staff took us to a small classroom where they gave an informative and entertaining
presentation about animals and how to be good Conservation Ambassadors. There
was an interactive quiz where the students pretended to be pandas surviving in the wild
too! After that, we had a short tour to visit the pandas, otters and other cute animals.
Both students and teachers learnt a lot, and had lots of fun doing so. We hope to visit
again in the future, and we will be sure to do our part to save our wonderful planet.
