What a year! We all were in a state of political turmoil and in
view of this, one of the sports days was called off and the
school suspension continued for a few days. Many may harbor
a grievance against the government or the protesters. However,
as the saying goes “The show must go on.” We need to pull
ourselves together, fulfill our responsibility and live the lives that
we are supposed to do.

Life is full of hopes and miracles. As long as you dare to dream
and try, you can always explore the rainbows in your lives.
Take this issue of the Navigator as an example. In the past, the

contributions for the school English magazines were mainly from
senior form students. However, the one that you are reading now
consists of work from junior form students. They interviewed
teachers and students, took pictures like professional reporters,
wrote articles for the Navigator, etc. No one could have expected
that junior form students could have achieved all of this alone.
Thanks to our English teachers, without their guidance and
support, this issue of the Navigator could never have been

published and students’ potential could never have been revealed.

This year, the school theme is “Study Well, Love Well”. Maybe
during this critical moment, love is the perfect cure to many
broken hearts. As the Bible says, “Such love has no fear, because
perfect love expels all fear” (1 John 4:18, NLT). We could all be
the tools to spread love and show our appreciation to the people
around us. This is something that we could and should do.
