                       Boo! Happy Halloween!

                                                                                                       st
You may have noticed our beautifully decorated Halloween noticeboard downstairs in the lead up to 31
October. It was festooned with some of the excellent results our students achieved in our Halloween English
competition. Each level completed a different activity. P1
students did a crossword, P2 unraveled anagrams, P3
had a word search and P4 discovered rhyming words.
These levels were able to “trick or treat” in the playground
during recess on the day of Halloween. Additionally, P5
students needed to complete a spooky picture according
to given criteria and P6 had a complicated crossword
and vocabulary activity to undertake. The upper levels
enjoyed tongue twisters and could “trick or treat” in their
respective classrooms for Halloween. It was a time of
great excitement and joy; there were many delighted
cries of “trick or treat” throughout the activities.
English teachers and English helpers are giving treats. Yeah!
