A visit to the kindergarten

This Wednesday, we had a school outing. We went to a kindergarten in Tin Shui Estate. The
weather was not very good. It was cloudy. We went to the kindergarten on foot because it was
near our school. My classmates and I were nervous.
We did different activities with the kindergarten children. We clapped and sang songs. We also
played balls with them. We performed a magic show, too. Finally, we took photos and gave some
stationery items to the children. They laughed happily. I was impressed by their happy faces.
We experienced an unforgettable time on that day. The children were lovely and funny. They
loved to learn new things. All of us enjoyed the day and had a happy experience.

A story about healthy eating

Last night, Mary, her mother and her sister had a dinner at home. Mary had a bad
habit. She ate too many snacks before dinner, so she was full. At dinner time, she
was not hungry. Mum asked her, “What’s wrong with you? Are you sick?” “No, I
am not sick.” said Mary. She was very weak and skinny.
The next morning, she woke up late. She did not have breakfast. At school, she
had a P.E. lesson. At that moment, she felt very giddy and starving. Her face was
as pale as a ghost.
After school, Mary’s mother went home with her. In the street, She was very
hungry and tired. Suddenly, she fainted. Her mother was worried. She called an
ambulance immediately. The ambulance staff used the stretcher bed to take Mary
to the hospital.
In the end, the doctor said that Mary had to stay in hospital for three weeks. After
this incident, Mary eats more vegetables and fruit. She has a balanced diet.

A day camp in Jockey Club Tai Tong Holiday Camp

Today I went to Jockey Club Tai Tong Holiday Camp with my teachers and classmates. Tim is my best
friend. I was so happy to have a day camp with him.
Tim and I played on a rope course. It seemed dangerous. We were scared when we were playing on
the rope course. Then, we rode horses. Tim and I hadn't ridden horses before. We felt excited. We
also made candles and picked fruit. It was amazing. Next, we ate lunch at a fast food shop. We ate
sandwiches, chips and chicken wings.
After that, we went to climb walls. It was dangerous too. We saw a classmate climb up very high.
Suddenly, he fell down from a forty-metre high wall. We felt scared. Some classmates yelled loudly.
Some of them called the teachers for help. After a few minutes, some ambulance staff came, but they
said, “The boy is fine.” We all felt better.
At around four o’clock, we went back to school by coach. We had a happy but tiring day!
