When I grow up, I want to be a doctor.
Doctors work in a clinic or a hospital. They
need to work at least 8 hours a day. They
work from day to night.

Tom's unhappy day

Tom was a primary one student. He could button his shirt, comb his hair and wash his face, but he
couldn’t pack his school bag very well. He always put all the books in his school bag.
One day, her mother was sick. She had to stay in bed for days. Tom did not know what to do. He had to
cook dinner by himself. When he was taking a bath, he spilled the water on the floor, so he slipped down
and hurt his leg. He felt painful, but he did not want his mum to know this. He also made a mess in all the
rooms. At the end of a day, he had to go to bed by himself.
He was worried about his mother, so he forgot to bring his homework, exercise books and tableware. In
the classroom, the teacher scolded him.
It was Tom’s unhappy day.
