Our Mathematics teachers are dedicated to polishing their teaching methodologies and EXCELLENCE
techniques by attending subject-specific seminars, talks, training courses and experience YEARS OF
sharing sessions conducted by the Education Bureau and other educational organizations.
Action study is carried out in each form and this proves to be an effective way of enhancing 40
teaching effectiveness.

With the concerted efforts of both teachers and students, outstanding academic results
have been achieved for years. In the HKDSE Examinations from 2012 to 2017, the
average percentages of students attaining level 4 or above in our school have been 71% for
Mathematics, 73% for Mathematics Extended Module 1 and 74% for Mathematics Extended
Module 2. The results attained far exceed the overall averages of Hong Kong schools.

In face of the ongoing curriculum changes, the Mathematics Department will spare no effort
in further enhancing students’ interest and attainment in Mathematics in the years ahead.
