             Experience of Typhoon Mangkhut

            The night before the storm,
I can still remember the beautiful sunset,
            A typical peaceful norm.
The radio news had been warning
To tape up the windows and shut the doors tight,
            Waiting for the storm.
            How could we go wrong?

The day we were hit by the storm,
                                                           Whose name was Mangkhut,
                                                           The buildings started to sway,
And snapped the trees ferociously to fall,
                                                           Smashed the windows to smithereens;
They almost got thrown to Aberdeen,
                                                           Panic in the storm,
                                                           Never had seen it before!
                                                           The day after the storm,

            Mangkhut was like a bomb,
            Roads were covered in twigs,
Pavements had lost dozens of bricks.
The traffic queue became so long,
Poor workers had to wait all day long,
Thank you firemen, policemen and paramedics,
Wheezing around the city with care and responsibility,
            Farewell to this tempestuous storm,
Bravo to my community Hong Kong!
