Blessings to all graduates!
Bloom where you are planted, Shine where you are sent, Know
that God has used you here, Just the way He meant...
Cherish all the memories, Make a brand new start, Know that
God has placed you Forever in our hearts.

In my ears the word ‘graduation’ has the sweet sound of an
upgrade on a plane. And in some respect it really applies. Jesus
said to his disciples: “Now that you have learned my lesson and
follow my words, I call you friends. Because everything I hear
from my Father I have shared with you.” (John 15,15). After
learning your lesson your graduation is a welcoming in Jesus’
friendship. And friendship, as the wise poet George Eliot put into
words, “friendship is the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of
feeling save with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor
measure words but pouring all right out just as they are.”
My congratulation to all the LTS-graduates of this year. Have a
seat in the friendship section. In Jesus’ name.

Dear graduate student,
It’s a great gift to be able to plunge into the great mystery of
salvation. You have probably been built up in your inner person
through all you’ve learnt. I ask Jesus to share with you his and his
Father’s Spirit so that you receive the grace to share this mystery
with your congregation, with people in need and with those not
yet knowing God-in-Christ: “Christ in you the hope of glory.”
