AEMSS Drama Fest 2018

The English Drama Club has achieved remarkable results in the AEMSS
Drama Fest 2018. Easter Service

This year, we hosted the competition on our beautiful campus on 20
April, 2018 in Ng Wah Hall. The team produced an original play titled 9
1/2 Floor. Trapped in a malfunctioned elevator in an impoverished housing
estate amid an intense protest, a government official, a poor mother and her
son, and a recent university graduate tell their life stories, exploring multiple
pressing issues in Hong Kong such as youth unemployment, poverty,
housing shortage and politics.
With such a creative and dynamic play, the team stood out among other
schools and won the grand prize
of Outstanding Performance,
together with the award of Our Easter Service for celebrating
