Hidden Hong Kong

Nineteen students enjoyed some
of the hidden treasures that Hong
Kong offers. Our guide, Dr. Martin
Williams, taught us both where to
look and what you can see - if you
look hard enough. In this year’s
trip we witnessed everything from
dramatic wild dolphin sightings
from a boat off Lantau, to the
exquisite detail of small things like
the beautiful lillies floating on a
shining, still lake in Mai Po. Also, in
an often loud and fast-paced world,
we learned to appreciate patience
and stealth as we watched migratory
birds, mudskippers and crabs feeding
in the Pearl River estuary. And lots
more – all within Hong Kong.
