Head Prefects
Mark Ngai
I am honoured to be given this chance to serve as Head
Prefect this year. Together with Naomi, Alston, and
Natalie, I aim to take action and to transform our school
into an even better place than it already is. As of right
now, our main objective is to improve the overall school
environment, and one of the solutions we have come
up with together is the implementation of the Student
Representative Council. Thanks to Mr Fong, Mr Sibthorpe,
and the support from many of the teachers in our school,
we have revived the SRC in the third term of this academic
year. I foresee that with the help of the Head Prefect
Committee and the supportive teachers, the SRC will carry
on for many years to come and will continuously achieve in
unimaginable ways.
Although it has only been a few months, the Head Prefect
Committee has worked together and made plans that we
wish to follow through with in the following academic year,
and we hope that we can have your support in the months
to come!
Naomi Tse
It has been my greatest honour to serve as one of the head
prefects of the school. Being a Head Prefect has proven
to be a new experience for me, as during this period we
have been required to approach and listen to opinions
of students and teachers. Even though the new Head
Prefect Committee only started a few months ago, several
changes have taken place, with the largest being the re-
establishment of the Student Representative Council. This
change certainly serves as the stepping stone towards our
goal of enhancing the school environment and maximising
communication within the school community.
So far, being Head Prefect has been a demanding, but
pleasurable experience. Huge thanks to Mark, Natalie and
Alston for being excellent partners, as well as our teachers
for providing us with immense support during our journey.
Although changes have been taking place slowly, we will
ensure that all voices are heard. In the future, we will carry
in our hearts the promises made during the elections. With
hard work, courage and patience, I believe these promises
will definitely be fulfilled. Together, we can look forward to
seeing new changes in KCCIS!
