An Unforgettable Experience

1B Lo Yin Kiu, Crystal

Since I started studying at Sun Fong Chung College four months ago, I have had one
really unforgettable experience.

In October, our class was involved in a basketball competition on the basketball court.
Some of the students in our class changed into their P.E. clothes at lunchtime and then they
went downstairs. Even though the participants were all sporty students, they were excited and
nervous about this competition.
When my classmates and I finished our lunch, we went to the basketball court to support
the students from our class who were playing. Our class, 1B, was playing against 1A. We
yelled, ‘1B’ and clapped our hands. We were as excited as if we were watching a concert.
We supported our classmates as they were very hardworking in this competition. Miss
Tang also went to the basketball court to support them too. We were very active while cheering
our team and we were also very happy.
Finally, 1B won. We clapped our hands and went back to the classroom. So many
students in 1B felt this day was unforgettable. Me too! I will remember this day, forever.

I have been learning at Sun Fong Chung College for four months now and I have many
people who I want to thank. First, I want to thank our 1B class teachers. They are Miss Tang,
Miss Lo and Mr. Cotton. They are very kind and patient. When we have problems or questions
about homework, they will teach us how to do it.

Second, I want to thank my classmates and friends, Belle, Carman, Carrie and Julie.
Although Carrie and Julie are in 1C and 1A respectively, they are still my friends. When I am
bored or feel unhappy, they will talk and play with me. In my class, my best friends are Belle
and Carman. They always talk with me and when I have problems with the homework, they
will teach me how to do it.

Finally, I want to thank the school workers such as the tuck shop staff and the janitors.
They always help the teachers and the students. The people in the tuck shop sell delicious
food to us and the janitors help to clean the classrooms after we leave the school at the end of
the day. They help us with many things and I want to thank them very much.
