My Interesting Job

6A Lee Sze Ting

I am a photographer for a celebrity magazine. It is a great job for many people as I can
meet a lot of famous people who are always under the spotlight. It is also an interesting job.
Although it is hard for me to communicate with some stars at times, I still love this job because
of the challenging nature of my job.
What I am responsible for is taking photographs for celebrities and successful
businessmen as well as editing the photos for the magazine. I have to capture the most
appealing moment and figures of those people but it is not always an easy job. As you know,
some celebrities, especially the athletes and businessmen, feel uncomfortable when they are
facing the camera. What I need to do is tell them how to show their kindness to the public. The
next step is ‘editing time’. Undoubtedly, it is one of the most challenging parts of my job but I
still enjoy the process.
What I love most about my job is taking photos for celebrities. Despite the fact that it is the
most difficult part of my job, I have a great sense of satisfaction from it. When I take photos for
those famous people, I am very much proud of myself. I can help them bring out a kind, great
figure to the public. Why do I love taking photos most? This is because I can learn from the
celebrities. Their professional attitude to work is what I have learnt. That is why I love it most.
Not only because of the sense of accomplishment which this job brings to me, but also the
professional attitude which I can learn.
If I were not a photographer, I would like to be a writer. Besides taking photos, I like
reading novels, too. I am trying to write novels. I enjoy the whole new world while reading
novels. It is the world that I have never been in touch with. Writing novels is a little bit different.
You are creating a new world. You can write whatever you want if only you have ideas. That is
the most interesting part of being a writer.
